OLIVIA"S FIRST TWINS GAME!

WE GOT TO SEE THE BEST GAME OF THE TWINS 2008 SEASON AS THEY BATTLED THE CHICAGO WHITE SOX. THE TWINS WON THIS PARTICULAR GAME, HOWEVER THEY WERE UNSUCCESSFUL IN ADVANCING TO THE PLAYOFFS THIS YEAR. OF COURSE THE BEST PART FOR OLIVIA WAS THE FOOD!

OLIVIA GOES TO PRESCHOOL

OLIVIA STARTED 4 YEAR-OLD PRESCHOOL THIS FALL AT ZION LUTHERAN SCHOOL IN MAYER. I'M NOT SURE WHAT SHE LOVESMORE--SCHOOL OR THE BUS RIDE HOME!!!

The last days of summer

At the carver county fair 2008

We went to the carver county fair this summer (in lieu of the state fair) but the girls had a great time and the people watching was not quite as supreme as at the state fair. Eric noticed a definite lack of genetic defects!

Lucia & Harry Share a Birthday

Cousins Harry & Lucia shared a birthday party in July to celebrate Lucia's 1st birthday and Harry's 2nd birthday. I didn't get hardly any pictures of the party---so Sara or Gramps might have a few to share???

Como Zoo

The Turner family spent an afternoon in July at the Como Zoo. The people watching was far superior to the animal watching---and the girls only wanted to go on rides!!!

Grandma's Birthday

As you can see, we all had a fun time helping Grandma Briggs celebrate her birthday in Owatonna last Sunday. A few guys even planned their party attire! :-) The chocolate cake was delicious. (Even if there were not *quite* 77 candles!)

olivia's first dance recital

olivia lula had her very first dance recital on june 14th. her class

performed "daddy's girl" and they were very entertaining. both sets of grandparents were in attendance as well as auntie emily, mama, papa and her sisters.

at the end of april the turner family packed up all their worldly possessions and left the minneapolis suburbs for good 'ole country livin' out in mayer. we are enjoying the smell of manure and getting settled into our new home.
